Marsha George is a principal with Consulting by George, specializing in healthcare information technology recruiting and consulting.

Ms. George has spent the last 30 years in all aspects of the information technology industry. She was President of a software company that provided niche systems for healthcare organizations. Some of her clients included University of California, San Francisco and University of British Columbia. She was a national consulting manager for one of the international public accounting and consulting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. George spent several years as the Chief Information Officer for an integrated healthcare system in the Pacific Northwest, PeaceHealth, and most recently as the Eastern Division CIO for Sutter Health During that time, she was active in several national organizations, including chairing the IT group purchasing activities for Premier.

She is an active member of Healthcare Information and Management System Society, presenting at conferences and writing articles.
